I'm not sure you want to go down that road, even if you do work out how to
do
it. The net result will be a slower server, not a faster one. Ultimately you
will get situations where the high priority ibserver is waiting for a lower
priority OS service that can't fulfill the requests quickly enought due to
the
higher priority ibserver. A bit like standing in the doorway while asking
your
guests to come in? Sure, they'd love to, but they can't get past, because
you're standing in the doorway. (Hmm, perhaps I should get out of the
metaphor
business.)
