You want to find a good database ER/CASE tool, we use an ancient version
of S-Designer (now called PowerDesigner, I believe) it works like a
dream. Not only will the tool give you nice pictures and generate the
necessary DDL scripts, some of them have advanced features like
sub-modules to allow you to organize a large/huge database into
smaller/logical units.

There is at least 1 which provides support for InterBase 6.0 (but the
name escapes me now).

Subject: [ib-support] Graphical IB Database Designer

I am an experienced MS Access developer and I am interested in using
Interbase / JBuilder for future database applications. Despite the
negatives of Access, it has some great features- like being able to
define relationships between tables graphically.

Is there software available to graphically define relationship
in Interbase? I've found software that makes table design easier (built
into JBuilder), but none for relationship constraints. This is more
just a convenience: When a client wants to see what the database they
bought *really* is, the clearest description is a picture of the tables
the relationships between them.

Does anyone have some suggestions?
