personally the so-called Interbase security is a joke, I wouldnt rely on it.
There is some measure of security if your OS does a good job at it. But we
couldnt in all honesty use it for our clients (such as the Banks) that want
highly secure software.
I have seen others suggest that they have their own table for this purpose
and they mirror teh changes in their app logged on as SYSDBA into isc4.gdb
