I currently use Interbase 6, and I'm trying to increase the remote
buffer
size by using TCS_REMOTE_BUFFER but in the documentation it appear that
this variable as disappear in the version 6 of Interbase.

Do someone have a clue how I can increase the remote buffer size of
Interbase 6 because the remote connection from France (we are in Canada)

are slow and we think that the principal problem is that the route
between
the server is too long .

So how could I increase the speed ??
