Doug, I know about a few cases where the code misses the exact column
position, but for most errors, it will be acceptably accurate.

Also, you get the name of the unrecognized variable while compiling a
procedure, a missing think that really drove me crazy in the past. At least
I can search for the offending name with an editor in the procedure's source
and discover the place if it's too long to count lines.
