Jason, as I said ibconsole and ibaccess don't report the error. IBO reports
a AV only in FormQuery, not in Tib_cursor.

My questions are:

Is the syntax 'select* from table' a valid sql statement or Firebird
would have to report an error?
Is the problem in IBO, ibconsole and ibaccess or in Firebird?
