Hi Agustin,
Firebird are working on a type 4 JDBC driver for Firebird and IB6.
This is developing well thanks to David Jencks and Roman Rokytskyy in
particular.
There is a seperate list on egroups called ib-java which is the main
java forum.
I'm sure they will appreciate any help you could give them in getting
this driver out and stable.
