I'm not sure if it's the same bug, but your is solved, too. I think it was
solved before RC1 was released. Maybe you didn't change the tools; you need
to refresh gbak.

Anyway, there's another bug that was solved later: generators with blanks
embedded in names. Their values never have been backed up previously. We
didn't create the bug; we only inherited it.
