Just tested it with my app and it returned the errors immediately,
first reporting problems with the shares and then finally the
connection. So that worked Ok and in reasonable time.

I am getting same message now from isql but in may case the unknown
win32 error is 10060, not 10065.

Wonder why? Of course if it is unknown, what difference, right?

But, in IBConsole and isql, very very sloooow in posting error.
