I use dialup networking, so by dropping off the net I can simulate a network
failure. I found one entry that could be useful in my hosts files, don't
remember why I put it, but I took advantage of it:

H:\ibdev\fbbuild\interbase\ib_debug\bin>isql ia.iatest.com:h:/proy/c.gdb
Statement failed, SQLCODE = -902

Unable to complete network request to host "ia.iatest.com".
-Failed to establish a connection.
-unknown Win32 error 10065
Use CONNECT or CREATE DATABASE to specify a database

Notice I have the FB engine local to my machine and it was running, but it
wasn't picked as the 2nd alternative after the failure.
