I dont think the Americans know what metric
means(eg:Miles,Inches,Gallon,Fahrenheit,etc) ;-))
There has always been disagreement on how to name these large numbers why
not stick with scientific notation. So if you say 10 to the power 12 then
everybody knows what you talking about.
