Ann is showing her diplomatic side, here. The more 'honest' language
would be:

"It's a huge standard written in a language that only the committee
members and 500 others (worldwide) understand."

To say that the language is obtuse, would be kind!

Fortunately, we have Diane Brown (a committee member) who (with the help
of her decoder ring) can be called upon to perform the translation task
(ISO -> humaneeze).
