Well, the BDE doesn't have any inside information about InterBase. It has to
log in just like everyone else. So... the correct password is stored somewhere
on disc and the BDE can find it. I would look first in the registry, and you
might check the isc_password env. variable (although I have never known the
BDE to pick it up.)

Which version of the BDE, btw?
