So to be totaly sure :"), ( sorry for this ):
At the moment FB1.0 :
SKIP 0 is error..
SKIP 1 really mean SKIP 0
i.e SKIP X really means SKIP X-1 !!didn't tried this, will check it now!!!
but in the fixed version that will come soon :
SKIP 0 will mean SKIP 0
SKIP 1 will mean SKIP 1
SKIP X will mean SKIP X

| the FIRST/SKIP logic, it has been fixed and will be available with the
| next Firebird release -- due very soon.
