Sorry I ddin't specified fully... I mean listening on say interface
eth0(f.e. 192.168.0.1 and 127.0.0.1), but not listening on
ppp0-interface(f.e. 217.34.X.Y) .. gotcha

| Firebird only listen to a single TCP/IP port, by default this is 3050.

| This port can be changed on the server by adding the following entry to
| the server services file:
