Novell discontinuing support is not as critical as some other
companies, they will still fix show-stoppers, there was a Y2K patch
to Netware 3.12, and they haven't supported that in years. Netware 4
should be stable enough now, that it doesn't really need a lot of
vendor support. Even so, I am officially recommending that clients,
use Linux for Servers as it is reliable, secure and fairly easy to
maintain. Fortunately that means I can use a real database, rather
then Btrieve.
