honestly, I'm ok to work on pyfirebirdsl, but for me it is clear that :
For Python 2.x : use kinterbasdb
For Python 3.x : pyfirebirdsql

I personally will not focus on Python2 compatibility for pyfirebirdsql
For Python2, kinterbasdb is reliable and we maintain it

I am clearly in favor of treating Python2 and Python3 as 2 different
languages
