Hi Philippe, Pavel and others,

I have read the manual - which describes the format for the command, but is not an actual example - and I have tried to apply what is written there. To no avail. I'm not new to Firebird, otherwise I would have abandoned PowerConsole by now. I simply don't get it to work. E.g. I tried this behind the PowerConsole prompt:
CONNECT 'C:\Data\REGDB.fdb' host localhost user SYSDBA password xxxxx

All the thing is telling me is: SyntaxError: invalid syntax

Please explain what I'm doing wrong. Thanks in advance.
