Never use the Synaptic for install FB, FR or KI, allways use the binary packages and compile.
I always have troubles when I try to make run the combo in Ubuntu + Synaptic.

not open file, no such file or directory.
Any chance that things have moved in a 2.1 install to folders/locations
which are not handled by that version of FlameRobin and kb 3.2.1?
