Double Quote should be "\\" and Single quote '\'
Always getting those mixed up when I'm on the windows machines ...
So are you using '' in the code?

Yes, i already tried that.

I found my mistake, i have another module that overwrite the connection data and has a werong connection path. I am sorry I wasted your time.

Conclusion: "firebird:dbname=server4:e:\fbdata\sigelprestdev.fdb" works fine.
