Well the error is quite specific ... It's not found a valid database ...

So we need to know just what setup you are trying to get working.
Version of PHP and Firebird ...
OS you are on ...
The 'connection string' you are using ...

How have you created the database? Flamerobin is a useful tool to check and
manage the Firebird end in isolation before connecting to it from other tools.
