At the very least it does confirm that what I've been doing for the last
few years is not wrong. I could not see why there should be any problem
using the BORLAND dll libraries on any windows machine. I've never had
to recompile them just because windows has changed.

But perhaps we just hang out until M$ reverse the real cock-up with VC9
over 'manifests' and wait for VC10 to restore sanity?
