ACTUALLY if you follow the link, you will see the reason for the comment!
A number of the latest updates need FB2 so FB1.5 may not work. That
depends on what packages you are using, but the core + blogs should run
fine on FB1.5

Anyway I've changed that note to
(tested extensively but check version notes)

I will update the version notes some time, but there are only so many
hours in the day :(
