I'm pretty sure, that I'm lost in these terms. :) So I'm building PHP
like (create some years ago ...):
./configure --prefix=/path/for/php --with-apxs2=/usr/local/apache2/bin/apxs \
--disable-posix \
--enable-ftp \
--with-interbase=/opt/firebird \
--with-gd \
--with-png-dir=/usr/lib \
--with-jpeg-dir=/usr/lib \
--with-mysqli=/usr/local/mysql/bin/mysql_config \
--with-openssl=/usr \
--with-mysql=/usr/local/mysql \
--with-mysql-sock=/tmp/mysql.sock \
--enable-bcmath \
--enable-mbstring \
--enable-mbregex \
--enable-soap \
--with-xml=/usr/lib \
--with-zlib=/usr \
--with-iconv=/usr/lib \
When I need to change something in php, I will just run this script,
make, make install and then I reload httpd and it's done. I'm not
rebuilding apache at all.
But using this config, when using FB 2.1 I got error shown on the top
of thread. But I don't know what's is the (dis)advantage of adding
shared before path to FB.
Note: I'm building PHP like this for a years, so I hope it's not
completely wrong. :)
