OK let us go back a bit - which version of ADOdb are you running.
The problem is happening there not in your code.

How big is the database? Could you send me a copy to have a look at the
results here. I've only just switched to 5.2 myself, site was running 5.1.6
because of the date problems with 5.2 so you may still be seeing that.

( Although I'm at an exhibition from Thursday to Sunday so I probably will not
have time until next week :( )
