You are thinking down the same line as me ;)

PaulB has had a 'complaint' about Firebird and PHP, and asked for my
comments, which were basically - "You can't 'push' new pages to a client
so were do Firebird events come in" :)

I can see an event working within a page. Register it, post information
to Firebird, and handle the events it returns before generating a
'reply' page based on the event returned - which I think is what is
intended - but this guy is expecting to push new pages to clients in the
same way that events currently update dedicated clients after an event.

So I was looking for a sanity check ;)
