The server is running 2003 server with IIS which has php support.

on my local machine were it runs perfect, I have win2k with apache

On the server there is RAID, I don't think 2003 has system restore
like XP does.


[Alan McDonald] 2003 has disk shadowing but I've been convinced that it does
not have the same effect as system restore. It might still be worth checking
by turning it off and trying.
Disk properties | shadow copies tab | disable shadowing
