I don't think it "eats" memory, I think it crashes if it gets some
invalid data as input. Since you're using SuperServer, the entire server
goes down with it.

Run "pstree" command. See that you have only one main process, others
are just spawned from it. If you want more precise answer, prehaps you
should ask at firebird-support or even devel list, since only the FB
developers know the exact answer.
