I know the problem. In this situation, PHP is not the
answer, you need the flexibility of a database link.

There is a lot of things that can be done via a web
interface, and re-jigging some procedures allows it to work
well, but in others you need to be able to redraw small
areas of the screen, and PHP is not good at that, it has to
give you a new page ;)
