Well, I managed to do it within eclipse .

It happens that persistence.xml and a valid hibernate configuration, apart from the Database Connection when using Firebird, to get entities generated.

Using MySQL seems to requiere only the Database Connection .

It's been quiet a ride, but now I can do it with eclipse.
