If my skillset is same as yours then I would gladly take care of the code. Sad is my KungFu is no match to that of yours. I would probably want to make Firebird better than what it is now if I had your skills considering most of the well known databases are in Eclipse's Connection Profile except Firebird.

If firebird or jaybird were my baby I'll take care of it dearly.

I've always been a Firebird fan but I hope this stumbling block wont be a wakeup call for me or to anyone to move to another DBEngine.
