Its all very strange :

the lo is working i have no FW installed on this linux
box..

i think i have an issue with version 2 of squirrel, it
doesnt seem to find even the class names of fb...

i wil reboot and see if there is a conflict but there
shouldnt be..

Is the loopback network interface up and running? It
is called "lo".
Also check the firewall, maybe some rule prevents
loopback connections.
