work (at least for the little snippet I posted before), while JayBird
2.0.0 beta 2 JDK 1.5 does not, so the incompatibility with IB6.0 seems
to have crept into JayBird 2. I'll remove IB and install FB and then
try JayBird 2 on a different computer. I'll report back when I've
done that.
