Oh, no. That would be too good to be true :) I do not remember if their
RDBMS was described in that article, but I have no information of WallMart
using Firebird/JayBird.

I was only commenting the "real-world" thing and the importance of being
able to upgrade database schema when other connections are open to the
database. This is in no way related to Firebird, since at work for last 1,5
years I am using Oracle and DB2 only.
