There has never been an advance in computing that wasn't denigrated as
unnecessary, overly complex, and a superficial reimplementation of
something done earlier and better at either MIT or Stanford. By the
time most people figure out what it's good for, it will be considered
obvious and trivial.

Speaking of which, when did Alejandro Alberola Arias author the line
protocol? It would have saved me a great deal of work if I had known
about it.
