You really ought not to be persevering with this question in the Jaybird
list - it's a "damned cheek", as we say down here. The whole reason we
have multiple lists is so you can ask questions in the right places and not
interfere with other people's use of the specialised list.

There are proper answers to these questions you keep asking, but you
haven't seen them yet in this list. Describe your problem in
firebird-support and there you will find plenty willing to get you on
track. By the same token, don't ask Java questions in the database support
list.
