No problem, there are some others about, iBatis has got a good reputation,
and as JDO seams to becomming the 'standard', that might be another avenue.

You have also got the good old 'Entity EJB', which does have a bad reputation
but we use them alot, and have no real problems with them (one of the few, I
know)
