Hi Anton,
You need the Firebird-support group. This is the firebird-java group which
is for discussing the JayBird jdbc driver for Firebird which allows Java
programs to access Firebird databases.
You can sign up for Firebird-support the same way you did for Firebird-java.
One suggestion though, most Linux programs run OK under Solaris X86 if you
have the Linux compatibility libraries installed. If you hit a dead end you
may want to try that.
