this is
working properly just now:
String xdb =
"C:\\Transp\\Data\\DADOS.GDB";
String xuser = "sysdba";
String xpwd = "masterkey";
String xurl = "jdbc:firebirdsql:localhost/3050:";
String xuser = "sysdba";
String xpwd = "masterkey";
String xurl = "jdbc:firebirdsql:localhost/3050:";
Connection c = DriverManager.getConnection(xurl + xdb + xuser
+ xpwd);

Assunto: RES: [Firebird-Java] Re: Firebird connectivity
tries to connect via the DriverManager.getConnection(url,usid,pswrd);
it has this error:
SQLException: org.firebirdsql.jdbc.FBSQLException: Resource
Exception. Unable to complete network request to host " c".
Failed to locate host machine.
The specified name was not found in the hosts file or Domain Name
Services.
Reason: Unable to complete network request to host " c".
Failed to locate host machine.
The specified name was not found in the hosts file or Domain Name
Services.
This is my URL:
jdbc:firebirdsql:localhost/3050:c:\\directory\\Database.gdb
It doesn't like the C in the url and I haven't seen any other format.
Any input is greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Wesley Batson
