Firebird 1.x can be accessed using JayBird (Firebird SQL JCA/JDBC
driver), that in turn can be downloaded from
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=9028&release_id=17262=

It is normal JDBC driver, more information you will find in release
notes and FAQ that are included in the distribution package. I have no
idea what JCreator is, so you have to check its documentation about
using JDBC driver with it.
