Hi,
frustrating. I remember seeing a document recently on sourceforge saying
that they had moved anonymous access to the backup servers like you say.
I am still able to build the native code after checking out using anonymous
despite this problem in the java code.
Personally I find this problem quite baffeling. I have tried to reproduce
this problem without any luck. I've been using build.bat compile-native and
my environment is set up so the only thing used outside the client-java tree
is the JDK.
I have tried removing all jars from lib so only 'ant.jar' and 'cpptasks.jar'
are on the class path. I have tried replacing ant.jar with various versions
I have available without being able to reproduce this. It build sucessfully
each time.
I have a couple of questions:
Which JDK version does JAVA_HOME point too(or is overwise being used) ?
If you actually look inside cpptasks.jar - Can you see the class
'net.sf.antcontrib.cpptasks.CCTask'
and is the size of cpptasks.jar 195K ? (Just I'm wondering if maybe this
could be corrupted somehow.)
I realise the are potential issues with the environment - but from what you
have said you have tried it using only the libraries from client-java - so
the only applicable difference their should be between my and your
envionment is the JDK version - or perhaps corruption in the downloaded
jar's - hence the above questions.
Thanks
Ryan
