Other than being out of sync, anonymous access fails most of the time,
at least for me...
I always get these messages:
"cvs [update aborted]: recv() from server cvs.firebird.sourceforge.net: EOF"

"cvs [update aborted]: recv() from server cvs.firebird.sourceforge.net:
Connection reset by peer"
