On my servers switching to the full jar makes all unwanted stuff go
away.

On my laptop in my IDE, Sun One Studio, I still get

log4j:WARN No appenders could be found for logger
(org.firebirdsql.jgds.GDS_Impl).
log4j:WARN Please initialize the log4j system properly.

Which is fine.

So I assume you do not want my log4j.prop files, or do you?

I only have them on the server, as in my IDE I do not have a log4j.prop
file yet. I may use log4j in my existing apps?

I assume the warnings are because no log4j.prop file can be found? Since
I get that same message when removing the log4j.prop file from the
jmx.jar.

Anyway I am happy with the progress, and I should have switched to the
full jar sooner.
