Hi,

What InterClient are you using? It might happen, that Firebird and
InterBase are not fully compatible, and InterServer that works fine
with InterBase, will not work with Firebird. If you're using IC from
Borland, try using IC from Firebird on SourceForge.

Another possibility might be using JCA-JDBC driver. In CVS you will
find some examples from InterClient distribution that were ported to
JCA-JDBC driver. You will see that there's no big differences between
two drivers for an end user.
