thanks again for your help. Your suggestion setting
character set of my table and setting lc_ctype works.
At least for JCA-JDBC. But now we have some trouble
with Interclient.

I just wanted to try your last upload. But I can't download
it because of the hard (uggly) restrictions I have with
my clients InternetConnection. Is there an alternative way
to get this upload. Perhaps via EMail?
