Hi,
This is very short information about InterClient. I
tried to find feature set on the Borland's web site,
but without any success. InterClient "official" page
has InterClient 1.6 as the latest release. All higher
releases seem to be integrated with the InterBase.
Also, according to the information from Aaron Ruddick
(InterBase QA) in the InterClient's newsgroup, Borland
neither plan to release future InterClient versions
open source, nor to make binaries freely available for
download. Also he mentioned that Borland is working on
the type 4 JDBC driver (like our client-java). It is
not clear if it will be available for download too and
if it will be compatible with Firebird server.
So, it seems that InterClient 2.01 we have is the last
InterClient version available for Firebird people.
Best regards,
Roman Rokytskyy
