Are you sure you are compiling interclient?

Interserver is c++ but should not need any internals of firebird such as a
jrd file to build.

AFAIK interclient/interserver has never run on aix. Although it is not
complete, if you need java access to firebird on aix it might be easier to
try the client-java driver from firebird.
