Not sure about x86. There is definitely sources that run on SPARC,
but as far as I know Sun, Solaris on x86 is still Solaris. Get the
interclient sources from the CVS at
http://sourceforge.net/projects/firebird/. There is a build script.
It might happen that you will have to modify the make file (I had to
change the compiler defined in makefile).
