For java encryption the standard jdk comes with a fair bit now the export
laws have been relaxed. And I think 128bit SSL is provided in the latest
releases.

Otherwise there are a ton of java crypto solutions, small footprint and
large.

www.cryptix.org
www.acme.com
www.openjce.org

The easiest answer is probably to aim to run it over SSL in some way.

Cheers

Subject: Encryption

I was wondering if anyone has tried to intergrate encryption into the
IBServer and the JDBC Driver? I would be keen to try something like
that.
There are already Open Source libraries I am working with now for C and
Java
which could provide the encryption functionality, which we can just
apply
down at the socket level. Anyone interested in using InterClient over
the
Internet?
