Ann I think you misunderstood my tests because that is exactly what I did. I took firebird 2.5 superserver and firebird 3.0 superserver and four different connections were simultanously inserted data to database in a very short (100 record) transactions. And my tests show that indeed there is a performance boost, however 3.0 behaves worse than 2.5 and that surprised me.
